Wasn't me. Not only do I not have a record player, but I thought this was a fake. It looked like the labels were printed out of MS Word, and that Q logo on the label looked like the one that used to be a the Quarashi pad fan website.
I'm sure I was wrong about it being fake, just saying why i didn't bid on it.
What I'm really interested in is the Quarashi Metal Box set that's listed for $199. Just can't afford it at the moment.

It's definitely some kind of fake or bootleg item... unauthorized would probably be the best way to put it.
I do have a record player, so I was a little interested just to have it. The music on it isn't really anything to get excited about though, which is why I didn't bid anything crazy for it.
I'm surprised it hasn't come up more often for sale. It's not cheap to press a record, so there have to be a good number out there. Now that I think of it, the last (and only other) one I saw for sale was before the album Guerilla Disco was released.

I bid on it as well but did not win it. Was not prepared to give that amount of money for it. And yes it is a bootleg, not an official record. There were some different bootlegs from Japan around that time. I remember some other record that contained some of the rare downloads that I had at my website back in the days. I only have one of these bootlegs. The one I have is called "LIVE! Stick 'Em Up" and contains 8 tracks. Probably live versions, but I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet since I do not have a record player.

It's a bad time to be broke. Not only is the Metal Box I mentioned earlier on Ebay right now, but so is the Egg album - for $199 and $99, respectively. I once bid $70 on the egg album but lost the bid. Unfortunately, I'm broke right now so can't bid on anything. I sure would love to have both though. It's killing me to know what is on the "sample CD with seven additional songs" that's included in that metal boxset.

Maestro, do you have any pictures of the record you have?

I don't have any photos but I will try to get some photos taken with my regular camera so that you can get an idea of how it looks like.
And yeah, I also would like to have the boxset. I just don't think $199 is worth it, even if it is rare.

Just curious Maestro, what were the "rare tracks" that you had on your site back in the day?

Hmm, I don't remember them all and unfortunately I am not sure if I still have the original mp3s. I did however burn them on a CD. Here are some of them if I recall correctly. - Christmas Song (think could be found on mp3 before but not at that high quality) - Diesel Power (Sölvi remix) (could be found on mp3 before but not at that high quality) - Catch 22 (DJ Muggs remix) - Lone Rangers 2000 - Grass - Weirdo (Demo N.Y Feb 2000) - An Abductee - Dive In (Sölvi remix) - The Force (could be found on mp3 before but not at that high quality) There might be more but I am not really sure about the rest and I can not seem to find the site history. The news archive on my website does not go back that far (only until november 2003). EDIT: Found a snapshot of my old website in waybackmachine that gives us some more info: web.archive.org/web/20021219145158/http://w1.500.telia.com/~u50014174/Quarashi/audio.htm
